Every time I held the Doctor’s report in my hand and prayed, the Holy Spirit would say to me “whose report do you believe” and I just keep on believing God for a miracle. I spoke to Pastor Joseph about my complications and the following Sunday the church prayed with me; I was then 37 weeks old into my pregnancy. The following Monday upon arrival at the hospital, I felt an unusual amount of fetal movements. I was a bit scared and wondered what was wrong this time. About an hour later when I went into the doctor’s office he asked, “Why did they send you to me when your baby is in perfect birthing position?” I was overjoyed; I knew that this was a miracle. The devil being the evil one that he is, brought me right to the bottom again when I was informed by the same doctor that my baby’s skin may have been damaged or that it may be in a critical condition due to the diminishing volume of amniotic fluid in my womb. I was immediately admitted to the hospital to be induced 3 days later. On 18th September, 2002, I gave birth to a healthy baby girl, Makana Amaris Victor. My husband, Michael and I thank God every day that she is in perfect health, her skin is in perfect condition and she has never suffered from any complications. God is indeed a God of miracles. |
